Connect Claude and ChatGPT (MCP)

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your workspace: add Hadir Chat as a connector, sign in, and choose what it may read.

On this page

If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you can ask it about your workspace directly, such as «How many conversations did we resolve this week?» or «Summarise conversation 123». It uses Hadir Assistant's tools, which only read: it cannot send messages or change anything in Hadir Chat.

This works if Hadir Assistant and MCP connections are enabled on your workspace, and you may use the assistant. All you need is this address:

https://app.hadir.chat/mcp

Connect from Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then «Connectors», then «Add custom connector».
  2. Name it Hadir and paste the address above as the URL.
  3. Press «Connect». A Hadir Chat page opens; sign in if asked, in the same browser.
  4. Approve the connection (next section).

Connect from ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then «Connectors» (developer mode), then «Create».
  2. Paste the address above as the URL, and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. Sign in to Hadir Chat in the same browser when asked.
  4. Approve the connection (next section).

The steps inside Claude and ChatGPT are theirs and can change; if a menu has moved, look for connectors or MCP in their settings.

Approve and choose what it reads

Hadir Chat shows Connect an app to Hadir Assistant, with the app's name.

  1. Under What it can reach (1), tick only what you want the app to read, such as Overview, Conversations or Customers.
  2. Under Expires after (2), choose 30 days, 90 days or Never.
  3. Select Approve and connect (3). You return to Claude or ChatGPT, ready to ask.

The connection works as you. It never sees more than your role allows, more than you ticked, or more than your plan includes. If it reaches something it may not, it is told so and tells you.

See and stop connections

Administrators find every connection under Settings, then Integrations, then MCP (Claude and ChatGPT):

  • Connected apps (1) lists apps that signed in this way, each as the person who approved it, with when it was last used. Select Disconnect, then Confirm, to stop one; it stops on its next request.
  • Key connections (2) are for developers who connect with a key instead; see MCP server.

Every question the app sends to Hadir Chat is listed under Hadir Assistant, then Logs, MCP requests, with who asked, the tool used and whether it succeeded. Your chat itself stays inside Claude or ChatGPT and never reaches Hadir Chat.

Note: what the app reads leaves Hadir Chat and is handled by Claude or ChatGPT. Tick only what you are comfortable sharing with that app.
